Florian Daguet-Bresson is one of the youngest and most prominent Paris-based players in the art market.
He began his career at a very young age at Didier Luttenbacher’s gallery, specialized in 19th and 20th century objets d’art, participating at numerous international events and art fairs (PAD London, PAD Paris, Biennale des Antiquaires, Masterpiece, TEFAF etc.). His sharp eye, singular sensibility and vast knowledge, his enthusiasm and exacting standards, have earned him the respect of major collectors and institutions worldwide which he has been regularly advising. In 2020, the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco (NMNM) entrusted him with the production of a landmark exhibition Artifices Instables – Histoires de la Céramique, alongside Cristiano Raimondi. In 2021, he co-founded the Ceramics Now event, which for two editions captured the attention of contemporary ceramics enthusiasts the world over and was a commercial success. In January 2022, he joined the prestigious Condé Nast magazine The World of Interiors as Contributing Editor while continuing to support art writing projects, most notably L’Escaliers des Quatre Potiersand Tamara Van San monographic book Hope Spot. In 2023, under his own name, he took part to PAD Paris and PAD London art fairs, showcasing the works of a rich group of authoritative as well as emerging international contemporary ceramics artists. In December, he will open his first space in the central and chic 8th arrondissement of Paris.
