Ceramics, in its various forms, has been a constant throughout human history, offering insights into our past and serving as a canvas for contemporary expression. Earthen Fibres combines the rational aesthetics of printing with intuitive human gestures. It is a dialogue between the past and future, reinterpreting the coiling technique in a modern framework through 3D clay printing. This sculpture exudes a fluid charm, resembling fabric folds. Deliberately left unglazed, the piece preserves the earthy tone of the clay, while its surface texture is inspired by abstract motifs from Akrotiri, adding a tactile dimension to the object.
