The work explores a space where time can flow uniquely, realities converge, and possibilities are limitless. The installation consists of an organic islet, made of styrofoam, plywood, and polyester. Decorated with small hand-cut mirror tiles, the islet transforms into a dynamic mosaic that reflects and interacts with its surroundings.
The alcoves house delicate ceramic pieces inspired by archaeological findings, drawn from excavation and ritual themes. These ceramics, made from clay in shades of terracotta and ocher, seem to float on top, combining historical overtones with contemporary design.
Through mirrors, the installation incorporates reflections of its surroundings. This interaction invites viewers to a contemplative journey through the altered landscape, where the ceramic sculptures appear to sink, emerge or float, creating a mesmerizing visual paradox.
