Angeliki Papadopoulou

In her work, Angeliki searches for the analogies and similarities that exist in nature, in society, in the sciences, and culture.

She perceives Ceramic Art as an essential element of civilization and of her own identity, and she explores how this art can be evolved so that it may take new forms in the modern architectural, visual, and multicultural context.

Her creations result from a meditative dialogue with the clay itself, an effort that brings together all the characteristics of a mature, transcendental relationship.

Parallel to her personal work, she designs and carries out, social awareness activities for diversity and disability with large groups of individuals, using clay. These works are of large scale and are interactive and participatory.
