Elina Belou (b. 1988) is an artist born in Toulouse who lives and works between the south of France and Athens. She holds a Master’s degree in Photography from ENSAV La Cambre, Brussels (2013), and studied photography and video at Kuvataideakatemia, Helsinki (2012–2013). In 2019–2020, she completed a diploma in Ceramics at the Maison de la Céramique de Dieulefit, Dieulefit. Working across photography and ceramics, her practice explores form and materiality through poetic associations, reflecting on memory, landscape, contemplation, and attention to detail. Selected solo exhibitions include Wild Field, Arch, Athens, 2023; and Erotes to Kalokairi [Summer Loves], Institut Français d’Athènes, Athens, 2019. Selected group exhibitions include Déambulations, Auberge de France, Rhodes (2021); Façonneuses, L’Usine, Poët-Laval, 2020; Doce Doce, Atelier Concorde, Lisbon, 2016; Family Matters, De La Charge, Brussels, 2015; and Botanique, Brussels, 2013. She is represented by Bernier Eliades Gallery, Athens and Brussels.
