From 1995, Mareva spent 14 years in the investment banking and asset management divisions of Deutsche Bank. In 2009, she founded MG Capital Advisors S.A., an independent advisory firm focused on advising corporate and private clients in portfolio management, including Deutsche Bank. From 2010 to 2012, she founded Eternia Capital, an asset management firm focused on hedge fund investments.
In 2012, she started Endeavor Greece, a highly successful global non-profit organization aimed at identifying and supporting high-impact local entrepreneurs.
In 2013, she co-founded Zeus+Dione, a lifestyle brand centered on hand-crafted, high quality products utilizing Greek craftsmanship with the intention of celebrating and preserving these important facets of Greece’s cultural heritage from one generation to the next.
Ιn 2021 she created Mare Studio an artistic direction studio focusing on creative consulting for specific projects. In addition, the studio promotes the work of several creative minds in craftsmanship
Outside of business, Mareva is a keen supporter of the arts, promoting small craft schools, alongside landmark establishments of Contemporary Art. Her support extends to several board positions including the Middle East Acquisitions Committee at the Tate Modern, Board of Trustees at the Athens Biennale, the Contemporary Art Support Committee of the Museum of Cycladic Art, and the advisory board of Greece’s Craftsmanship Council. Additionally, Mareva is a dedicated supporter of NGOs centered on climate action and sustainability, including those targeting plastic pollution in the Aegean, zero waste initiatives, upcycling and more. She is also an outspoken advocate for victims of domestic violence and child abuse, working closely with Greece’s Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to bring much-needed change to these issues.
Mareva holds a BA in Political Science and History from Boston College, an MIA from Columbia University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
