Mauro Fariñas (b. 1982) is an artist born in Madrid and based in Berlin. He studied art in Helsinki. He began working with ceramics at the community studio Ceramic Kingdom, Berlin, in 2021, where he worked and taught for two years. He later completed residencies in Italy and Japan, expanding his experience of materials and techniques. Back in Berlin, he engaged with the city’s emerging clay scene, participating in exhibitions at venues including Backhaus Projects, Voo Space, Bikini Berlin, and Treptow Arena. Since 2024 he has established his ceramic studio within the community of Kunsthalle Neukölln and resumed teaching at Peace Out Paradise studio, both in Berlin. He has participated in group exhibitions in France, Spain, and Germany. He has also been selected for an upcoming residency at Taoxichuan Center, Jingdezhen (CN), scheduled for autumn 2026.
