Mirsini Roumelioti (b. 1976) is a Greek ceramicist based in Athens. Her practice explores everyday narratives and the subtle, often unspoken stories that shape human experience. With 28 years of professional experience as an interior designer, she brings a refined understanding of space, volume, and materiality to her sculptural work, merging design sensibility with artistic expression. Her process begins with words and emotions and develops through research, sketching, and experimentation, with form as a central tool for building emotional resonance. Shaped by living and studying abroad, her multicultural experiences inform an attention to overlooked gestures and quiet reflections of daily life, inviting viewers to pause and engage with the ordinary as something layered and extraordinary. She began studying ceramics at City Lit College, London, from 2022 to 2023, and continues advanced training at Iridanos Ceramic School, Athens, alongside seminars and workshops. Selected exhibitions include Return to Light, Amarynthia, 2025; Mon Coin Studio, Athens (GR), 2025; Cerco, Zaragoza, 2025; 1000vases, Paris, 2025; and 62nd Panhellenic Exhibition of Ceramics, Athens, 2024, where she received Third Place for her sculpture Perpetual Current.
