In The Metaverse and How We’ll Build It Together, Theo Triantafyllidis envisions the archaeological findings of the future through an installation that combines electronics and sound in ceramic vessels. These ceramic devices recite an opera of techno-optimism and introduce the futuristic into the ancient. Future archaeologists discover a blend of traditional craftsmanship with a digital footprint that combines the tangible with the virtual and explicates our current relationship with technology.
